Every story is told. Every story counts.
Puerto Rico’s only LGBTQ+ film festival was launching during a moment of political rollback, with trans rights, queer protections and institutional support under attack. The festival needed to promote its program while reminding the island why these stories matter.
We created Cada Historia Cuenta, a series of short films built around the double meaning of cuenta: every story is told, and every story counts. Each film captured a quiet, human moment of queer life in Puerto Rico, turning the festival’s promotion into a defense of its purpose. The screen became a place to hold the stories the culture was trying to push aside.
